New Samsung Galaxy Note 4 release date details have emerged today and not only does it look like the Galaxy Note 4 release is making progress, we now have a very specific Galaxy Note 4 release date to look at thanks to foreign retailers.
Yesterday, Samsung took the stage and announced the all new Samsung Galaxy Note 4, a successor to the Galaxy Note 4 and a device that will almost certainly be Samsung’s weapon against the iPhone 6 later this year. On stage, Samsung confirmed all of the Galaxy Note 4 specs, however, it failed to confirm a specific Galaxy Note 4 release date for consumers in the United States and around the globe.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 release date is confirmed for October, both in the United States and other regions around the world, though Samsung and its carrier partners remain mum on a specific date. Today, we’ve seen the Galaxy Note 4 release date take some healthy steps in the right direction and we also now have a brand new rumored Galaxy Note 4 release date to look at.
Earlier today, we reported that the Galaxy Note 4 release cleared a hurdle in the United States. We spotted the AT&T Galaxy Note 4 cruising through the FCC on its way to release. Getting clearance from the FCC is one of the crucial steps that a smartphone, not just the Galaxy Note 4 but any smartphone, needs to take before an official release.
New Galaxy Note 4 release information has emerged to go along with that development. Blog of Mobile, a Japanese language site, has spotted a number of known Galaxy Note 4 models passing through Bluetooth certification. Here is a list of the models that passed their Bluetooth Authentication yesterday, September 3rd:
SM-N910F, SM-N910C, SM-N910H, SM-N910U, SM-N9106W, SM-N9100, SM-N910S, SM-N910K, SM-N910L, SM-N910X, SM-N910G, SM-N9108V, SM-N910A, SM-N910T, SM-N910W8, SM-N910P, SM-N910V, SM-N910R4, SM-N9109W
Bluetooth certification is necessary ahead of release which means these models are now one step closer to their arrival, presumably during the month of October.
Samsung’s Galaxy Note 4 release date is now rumored to be in and around October 10th thanks to several retailers in Europe. Galaxy Club, a Dutch site, reports that several Dutch retailers including GSMWijzer, Student Mobile and Cool Blue expect the Galaxy Note 4 release to arrive on October 10th. Another retailer in the Netherlands, BelSimpel, expects it to arrive five weeks from now, or, in and around that October 10th date.
It’s important to note that these appear to be estimates for the Galaxy Note 4 release date. While they could be based on inside information from Samsung, October 10th is not the confirmed release date for the Galaxy Note 4 in the Netherlands or in any other region around the world. Like Samsung, U.S. carriers remain mum about a specific Galaxy Note 4 release date in the United States.
What is clear is that the Galaxy Note 4 release date is progressing nicely as we head deeper into September and into the fall and we should hear more about Samsung’s plans in the next few weeks as it gears up for its second big release of the year.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will be loaded up with new features including a new 5.7-inch Quad HD display, Snapdragon 805 processor from Qualcomm, 16MP camera with Optical Image Stabilization, new design that features plastic and metal, 32GB of storage, Android 4.4.4 KitKat, new software, and a brand new S Pen.
When it arrives, Samsung’s new Galaxy Note 4 will have to contend with top Android rivals in addition to the iPhone 6, Apple’s new iPhone release that’s expected to arrive on September 9th and be released sometime in September. iPhone 6 release date rumors currently point to an initial release on Friday, September 19th.
