An alleged Samsung Galaxy Note 4 specs list lines up with Galaxy Note 4 rumors and reveals virtually every single potential detail ahead of the Galaxy Note 4 release in September.
Samsung Galaxy Note 4 rumors have attempted to out Galaxy Note 4 specs, Galaxy Note 4 software, and the Galaxy Note 4 release date ahead of time. And while some Galaxy Note 4 details remain out of the picture for now, we’ve seen a ton of information emerge ahead of the Galaxy Note 4 launch on September 3rd.
Last week, Samsung confirmed the Galaxy Note 4 launch date for September 3rd, a date that had been stuck in the rumor mill for weeks, and a date that falls just before the IFA 2014 trade show in Berlin, Germany. Samsung has used IFA to launch the last three Galaxy Note smartphones so the Galaxy Note 4’s announcement came as no surprise.
Samsung still hasn’t confirmed any specific Galaxy Note 4 details, despite teasing the device in new trailer, but those details are starting to come together before it can even make an announcement.
Earlier this week, we saw a massive Galaxy Note 4 design leak include a supposed picture of the device and today, thanks to foreign retailer, we have a look at what could be an extensive Galaxy Note 4 specs list.
Erafone is listing the Galaxy Note 4 on its website with a full Galaxy Note 4 spec sheet. Included are details about its display, its camera, its storage, its RAM, and even specifics about its alert type.
Many of these specifications line up with what we’ve heard all along about the Galaxy Note 4. The device is listed with a 5.7-inch QHD display with 515ppi, a 16MP camera with Optical Image Stabilization, 4GB of RAM, different processors (Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 SM-N910S & Exynos 5433 SM-N910C) for specific model numbers previously associated with the Galaxy Note 4, a microSD card slot for expanded storage, and more.
There are a few questionable tidbits though. The retailer’s Galaxy Note 4 specs sheet lists the device in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB form. This is a bit strange given that evleaks previously said that the device would come in 32GB, at least in the United States. Last year’s Galaxy Note 3 came in 32GB and 64GB but only the 32GB was widespread.
The retailer also lists the device as having Android 4.4.3 KitKat, peculiar given that the new Samsung Galaxy Alpha, will come equipped with Android 4.4.4 KitKat. Today, we saw a carrier announce that it has the Galaxy S5 Android 4.4.3 KitKat in testing, so it’s possible that there is some truth to what we’re seeing here.
It’s not clear if this spec sheet is based on inside information or if the retailer simply pulled in rumored Galaxy Note 4 specs and filled in the blanks with probable features. Features like Bluetooth 4.0 have not been rumored but they are likely to arrive on board Samsung’s next Galaxy Note. So while there are plenty of detailed and credible specs here, consumers will want to remain cautious as we push further into August.
Samsung’s Unpacked 2014 Episode 2 will kick off on September 3rd in Berlin, Beijing and New York City and it’s there that we expect to see many of these details confirmed.
The Galaxy Note 4 is expected to collide with the Apple’s iPhone 6 release. The iPhone 6 launch date is rumored for September 9th, or, just six days after Samsung announces the Galaxy Note 4. And it’s there that Apple will likely detail the iPhone 6 release date, specs, and more.
iPhone 6 release date rumors put the device’s release on September 19th, a date that could be close to the Galaxy Note 4 release date which is expected to come earlier than last year’s Galaxy Note 3 release date. Last year’s Galaxy Note 3 was announced on September 3rd and released on September 25th. Galaxy Note 4 release date rumors point to an arrival the week of September 15th though that remains unconfirmed at this point.
