Galaxy Note 5 Marshmallow Update Confirmed for U.S.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Android Marshmallow update is confirmed for the United States. 

Earlier this year, T-Mobile confirmed plans to release a Galaxy Note 5 Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. The update is listed on its Android upgrade page where it remains in the "Manufacturer Development" stage. It still needs to pass T-Mobile testing before it's released. 

The fact that T-Mobile is planning an update is a good sign for other U.S. carriers. AT&T, Verizon and Sprint will almost certainly roll out Marshmallow for their Galaxy Note 5 models, it's just a matter of when at this point.
