All along the Galaxy Note 5 has been rumored to have a Exynos octa-core processor. This is big because Galaxy Note's have typically come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor in the United States. There's been a bit of back and forth regarding the processor type but thanks to a new round of rumors, it looks like Samsung will indeed be using a new version of its Exynos 7 processor called Exynos 7422. It's expcected to be an improved version of its Exynos 7420 that's found inside the Galaxy S6. The Exynos 7422 is expected to be the company's first single-chip solution. What this means is that it should feature CPU, GPU, RAM, storage, and the a modem on a single board. | |||||||||||
