This year, Samsung finally moved away from faux leather plastic materials. The Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge come with high-end form factors comprised of glass and metal. They're absolutely stunning to look at and they're extremely nice to hold. It should come as no surprise to learn that Samsung probably won't be going back to the faux leather design found on the Galaxy Note 3. No, Galaxy Note 5 design rumors suggest that the Galaxy Note 5 will come with a design that's similar to the Galaxy S6's. That means glass, that means metal, and that probably means a design that looks something like this. GSMArena's also released supposed Galaxy Note 5 renders from a case maker and they depict a device that looks a whole lot like a larger Galaxy S6. If these cases are accurate, the Galaxy Note 5 will measure 153.3mm x 76.1mm x 7.9mm. That's thinner than the Galaxy Note 3. While we haven't heard anything specific about the device's fingerprint sensor, Samsung's not going to kill this feature right before the launch of its mobile payment platform (Samsung Pay). The Galaxy Note 5 should come with a touch-based fingerprint sensor similar to the Galaxy S6's. If you upgrade, you will wonder how you got along without one on the Galaxy Note 3. It's that good. | |||||||||||
