Battery Life & Charging

Perhaps the single biggest difference between these two phones, besides the software, is battery life. OnePlus has a decent 3,300 mAh battery inside that charges incredibly fast. It gets average battery life. In fact, that's the same size battery as the Note 8 from 2017.

However, the new Galaxy Note 9 has a huge 4,000 mAh battery inside that will substantially last longer. That's a big deal. No Galaxy Note device has ever had a battery that big. Even the Galaxy S9+ is only 3,600 mAh.

And while the OnePlus 6 might recharge a little fast, Samsung still has Quick Charging technology that'll top it off crazy fast. Plus, it has wireless charging. Something you won't get from OnePlus.
