Google has just released an update for Gmail for Android handsets running Android 2.2 or later, bringing Gmail for Android to version 2.3.2.
If you’ve integrated another email account with your Google account, you can now also send out your email so that it displays the other email account address and not your Gmail address. For instance, if I had established my email@example.com address to pull in my emails from my firstname.lastname@example.org inbox, I can use my Gmail account to send an email and display my email address as email@example.com.
Additionally, you can also respond to Gmail messages inline and edit the original inline message as well. This will be useful if you need to forward the email and don’t want to forward the entire email to someone else.
The update is available as a free download in Android Market.
