Google Launches Official Android Blog

Google has now created a separate Android blog on its Blogspot service to update developers and users on Android-related news. In the past, news related to Android was posted on other official Blogspot properties for other Google services, including I/O, Commerce (for Google Wallet), Voice, Maps, and others. Now, with an official destination on Blogspot, we can expect to get all the Android-related news officially from Google in one centralized location.

While the Android blog itself is new, it looks like Google has already aggregated a lot of previous content to this new blog. Any previous news that was posted in other official Google blog posts are now also cross-posted to this official Android blog. At the time of this writing, it looks like the oldest blog post on the Android blog was dated February 2 2012 and deals with Android security.
