“How can I delete my Snapchat account?” is a very common question as users no longer need to access to the service or simply need to clean up a online profile. You can delete a Snapchat account in a minute or less in the app or on the Snapchat website.
Once you delete your Snapchat account you will not be able to send snaps or receive new Snapchat messages in the app. After you tell Snapchat to delete the account there is a 30 day window that you can log back in and reactivate your account. After 30 days the Snapchat account is permanently deleted.
If you need a short break from Snapchat, you can just uninstall the app. If you want to delete your Snapchat account this is what you need to do.
