How to Find a Nexus 4 Near You

The Nexus 4 was once one of the most difficult smartphones to purchase though in the past few weeks, Google and LG have gotten their supply issues under control. However, Google still wants to make the process as simple as possible for potential Nexus 4 buyers as it has rolled out a new way for customers to find a Nexus 4 for sale nearby.

Up until a few days ago, the Nexus 4 was one of the most difficult smartphones to buy as LG and Google struggled to keep up with demand. The Nexus 4, which launched in November, was met with an immediate sell out. It returned, only to sell out again in December with the Google Play Store no longer taking orders.

Google now makes it easy to find the T-Mobile Nexus 4.

The T-Mobile Nexus 4 also saw its fair share of ups and downs in terms of supply as it too has gone in and out of stock since launch.

Now though, as promised, LG and Google have seemingly got things under control. The unlocked Nexus 4 is available on the Google Play Store and the T-Mobile model is available both online and in through retail stores. Those looking to go the retail route now have a friend in Google as the company has launched a new Nexus 4 retail finder through its Play Store.

The Nexus 4 retail finder sits on the Nexus 4’s hub page in the upper right hand corner next to the listings for the device’s Features, Tech Specs and Gallery of photos. Once its selected, users can head in to find a menu that allows them to input their address and find where the Nexus 4 is sold. It also doesn’t tell users whether or not there is stock but it’s a nice addition for those looking to find a local store that sells the device.

In the future, Google could expand this to include other retailers like Best Buy.

Right now, the map only lists local T-Mobile stores but it could be that this roll out could be the start of a wider one that could include other retailers like Best Buy.

The Nexus 4 remains one of the best Android smartphones on the market as it combines impressive hardware specs with vanilla Android and cheap off-contract and on-contract price points.
