We’ll show you how to sign up for the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 beta o that you can try the new Call of Duty out ahead of the release date. This beta is specifically for the Battle Royale mode, and you cannot play the other game modes.
If you already played the multiplayer beta, you are signed up and you will use the same game you already downloaded, so there is nothing left to do. if you missed that and are looking to play the Blackout beta as your first Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 experience, you need to sign up.
You need to pre-order Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 to get into the beta, unless you are on PC, then there is an open beta. There may be a small window to play the Black Ops 4 beta without pre-ordering, but that is the best way. If you pre-order Black Ops 4 through a store like Amazon or Best Buy, you can easily cancel the pre-order if you decide you don’t like it. How to Sign Up for the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Blackout Beta
Signing up for the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Blackout beta is easy, but you need to make sure you do it before the servers are clogged, make sure you don’t lose you beta code and then make sure you get your beta token. The code that you get when you pre-order Black Ops 4 is not the one you enter on your gaming system of choice.
You should get an email from your retailer if you buy online that says. “Your Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Private Beta Access Code” in the subject line, or something similar. If you pre-ordered Black Ops 4 digitally directly from the PlayStation Store, Xbox Store or Battle.net, you will not get a code, you are already registered.
- Locate your Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 beta code.
- Login to the Black Ops 4 beta website.
- Use your Activision account or your console/Battle.net account.
- Paste the beta code in.
- Choose your platform and then Submit.
You should then see a Success message. If you see this, you are signed up, but you will need to wait for an email closer to the start date with the code that you enter on your console to download the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 beta and install it.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Beta Problems
We occasionally see Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 beta problems when registering and when redeeming codes. The two biggest problems are missing beta codes and codes that don’t work.
If you are missing your Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 beta code, you need to reach out to the retailer you bought it from. A clerk at the local store may not be able to help you. You should reach out via email support or by social media for the best results. You can also check the retailer forums if they support them.
In cases where you cannot enter the code, or it is illegible or the code does not work, you need to contact your retailer. Activision isn’t handling issues with the codes at this time.
If you’ve already pre-ordered Black Ops 4, you should have your code in your email. It can take up to 72 hours to get your code emailed to you. This is why it is a good idea to do the registration process before the beta starts.
Buy If You Love The Look of Mutliplayer
We know a lot about the the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 multiplayer experience from Treyarch, Vonderhaar and the last month of play. This is a very grounded game, but it is much faster than Call of Duty: WWII. Sliding is a very nice addition, and something I personally missed greatly during last year's Call of Duty game.
Treyarch continues to fine tune the weapons in multiplayer and new weapons are still coming, but overall you now have a very good idea of how the game plays and how it will play for the long run.
Specialists are back with loads of new abilities and you now have to heal your character in the game instead of it automatically happening. The Pick 10 system is back and so are perks, so you get a classic Black Ops gaming feel. Everything feels fast and fluid, like you expect from a Black Ops game.
With no story mode, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 multiplayer is a bigger component and if that is what you love about the game it's a good reason to buy now and get started with your progress towards prestige.
