How to Sign Up for the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Beta
The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare beta starts on September 12th on PS4 and the next weekend on Xbox One and PC. This guide shows you how to sign up and get ready for the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare beta so that you can make the most of your time with the game.
There are two weekends of the beta, but only PS4 players can play during both weekends.
This is an open beta, but only half of the time is open. If you want to play the full weekend, you will need to pre-order and sign up for the beta.
To get the Early Access for the Modern Warfare beta, you need to pre-order and get a code as a pre-order bonus. You can do this at Amazon, GameStop, Best Buy, Microsoft, Sony, and Battle.net.
How to Sign Up for the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Beta

Signing up for the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare beta takes just a minute or two, but you should do this before the beta arrives.
There are two things you need for early access. You need the code that you get when you pre-order and then you register with that to get the beta token that you enter into the store on your PS4, Xbox One or Battle.net.
Once you get an email from your retailer or on your receipt if you pre-order in-store, you need to register that on Call of Duty.
- Locate your Call of Duty: Modern Warfare beta code. (13 characters)
- Login to the Modern Warfare beta website.
- Use your Activision account or your console/Battle.net account.
- Paste the beta code in.
- Choose your platform and then Submit.
Once you do this, you will see a success message and you can sit back and wait for your beta token.
If you already redeemed a code for the Captian Price Blackout character, you’re already registered for the beta. You can check your Call of Duty: Modern Warfare beta access on Call of Duty.
If you don’t have a code from your retailer or there is a problem with your code, you will need to contact the place you bought your game from.
You will get an email with your Call of Duty: Modern Warfare beta token closer to September 12th. We expect a pre-load period, so hopefully, it will arrive around September 10th.
