How to Turn Off Twitter Emails for Replies, Retweets and Favorites
Twitter just turned on a new feature that will email you every time someone retweets or favorites a tweet of yours on the service. If you don’t want to get an email every time someone interacts with you on Twitter we are going to show you how to turn off Twitter reply, retweet and favorite email notifications.
How to Turn Off Twitter Emails for Replies, Retweets and Favorites
- Log in to Twitter
- Go to Notification Settings (If you are Logged in Click Here)
- Uncheck the email notification options including the recently enabled retweet notification.
Be sure to save your settings and you are good to go. If you still want to know about retweets and replies without clogging your inbox, we recommend you check out an app like Tweetdeck for your computer, iPhone or Android device which will show you replies, mentions and retweets in an easy to follow layout. There are many other great Twitter apps as well, so if you haven’t tried something other than the Twitter website, it would be worth your time to look around for alternatives.

Thank you. That has been annoying the crap out of me since it got rid of my old setting for no apparent reason.
