Verizon has finally spilled the official beans on the HTC Droid Incredible 2’s official release date and pricing and luckily it’s exactly what we thought it was going to be: a side-by-side launch with the upcoming Samsung Droid Charge with a price tag of $200.
That’s right, the successor to the original Droid Incredible will finally make it to shelves on April 28th, the same day that Verizon is launching their second 4G LTE device in the Droid Charge.
By now, the Droid Incredible 2 shouldn’t be a surprise. We’ve known the specifications for awhile, we’ve seen photos and video and we had the pricing nailed down since the end of March.
In case you missed the specifications, it’s going to have a 4-inch Super LCD display, a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, an 8MP rear camera, a 1.3MP front facing camera for video chat, mobile hotspot support, and it will be a world phone.
Sadly, Verizon didn’t include any 4G LTE love with the Droid Incredible 2 which kind of already puts it at a disadvantage. However, if you loved the original Droid Incredible and you were just looking for some hardware upgrades in the successor, this is the perfect device for you.
