The Verizon HTC One is official and will be coming to shelves at some point this summer. And while Verizon remains mum on timing for an announcement in regards to pricing and a release date, HTC is saying that it should be able to share details “soon.”
Earlier this week, after months of rumor and speculation, Verizon finally announced the HTC One, a device that was released several weeks ago on AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile after an introduction all the way back in February. The device is one of the big name smartphones on the market right now and when paired with Verizon’s 4G LTE network, it’s even more formidable than it already was.
Problem is, HTC and Verizon have remain silent on big details regarding the Verizon HTC One, refusing to disclose official pricing or the release date for its new flagship, leaving consumers wondering when they might expect the device to arrive.
For his part @LlabTooFeR, a noted HTC leakster, remains unclear on when Verizon plans to release the device saying that “anything can happen” and that it’s “hard to predict.” This could mean that a release date is still up in the air. Rumors have suggested that it may arrive in late June but at this point, again, anything is possible.
HTC, inundated with requests for information, has shared a bit of information in regards to details. According to the manufacturer, the company will have “have more details to share soon.” It’s not clear what it means by “soon” though this is a little bit better than the completely ambiguous responses it was giving people earlier in the week.
@tajustin95 Justin, it will be available later this summer. We’ll have more details to share soon. Planning on picking one up?

The device is still slated to be out sometime this summer which means that the device could potentially be released in August. Given the launch, this isn’t expected to happen. However, thanks to the companies unwillingness to share information, the release date pricing of the Verizon HTC One remain unknown.
Verizon’s HTC One is expected to be the same as the other models, save for one feature. It’s rumored to have Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, an update that is thought to be coming to the One sometime in the middle of the month .
