HTC Ville Leaks: Android 4.0, Sense 4.0, Super Thin Design

A few days ago we heard about the HTC Edge, a quad-core phone that HTC is apparently prepping for 2012 and now today, another HTC phone destined to hit shelves has leaked out in the form of the HTC Ville. The Ville will apparently debut alongside the Edge at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona and will apparently launch at some point during the month of April

So how does the HTC Ville stack up?

It has some pretty nice features on board including a sub-8mm design, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, and it will also have HTC Sense 4.0 – HTC’s upcoming UI – over the top of Android.

In addition, the HTC Ville supposedly has a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display, 8-megapixel backside-illuminated camera that can capture 1080p video, Beats Audio, HSPA+ speeds, and a 1,650 mAh battery.

What it won’t have on board is a quad-core processor as it’s rumored to boast a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon Series 4 chip.

All in all, not a bad device, but if you want it, be prepared to wait awhile.

So they’re going to take ICS and F it all up with Sense, just like they do with every other version of Android.

I agree. That’s why my Sensation is running MIUI. Not too flashy, just clean.

I have an Eris (yes yes, i know….soooo old) and it’s running CM7.  I thought Sense was awesome when I first got my phone, until I realized just how much it crappifies Android.  It’s like taking a gorgeous stock Porsche and putting a giant wing and japanese stickers all over it.

Why oh why is it called the Ville?
Perhaps its me, but every single time I look at it, in my mind I pronounce it as vile
