The iOS 9 update comes with a lot of new features including a News application that helps you better curate your news sources. It's one of our favorite applications, one that we've been using a ton, and it's a feature that we think you're going to love. Problem is, it's not available everyone.

iOS users in the United Kingdom got a bit of a surprise yesterday. The News app was no where to be found. We saw numerous complaints on social media and Apple's Discussion Forums about the missing News app.

This isn't an iOS 9 problem, it's by design. The News app isn't available for UK users yet but the iOS 9.1 update should fix that. The iOS 9.1 beta features a News app with UK-specific news sources.

And with an iOS 9.1 update only weeks away, news hounds should be excited.
