Don't Expect Verizon Wi-Fi Calling for Everyone

The iOS 9.3 beta 3 finally delivered the Verizon Wi-Fi calling feature that Verizon promised last year. It's an exciting feature but don't expect it to land for every single Verizon-branded iPhone model. Like Night Shift, its release will be limited. 

Verizon says that Wi-Fi calling is on the way and that's exciting news...if you own a newer Verizon iPhone model.

Wi-Fi calling requires you to be in possession of an iPhone 5c or something newer. It doesn't work with the iPhone 5 or the iPhone 4s. And if Verizon follows in the footsteps of AT&T, it won't work on the iPhone 5s either.
