iOS 9 Release for iPhone & iPad: 10 Things You Can Count On
iOS 9 Release This Fall | |||||||||||

While it would be nice to see Apple release iOS 9 this summer, you shouldn't count on an early iOS 9 release for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Instead, you can count on an iOS 9 release in the fall. When Apple shows off its new iOS software at WWDC, it always shows off an unfinished version of the software. A preview if you will. That's precisely why the company puts the update into the beta process after the show is over. It wants developers and the public to help it weed out bugs before a public release. iOS 8 was a bit of a black eye for a company that prides itself on delivering excellent software and we just don't see the iOS 9 beta lasting a few weeks. You can count on multiple iOS 9 beta updates before Apple feels like it's ready to release it to owners around the world. We expect it to be ready in the fall. | |||||||||||
