iPad Air 2 Deals Offers Sweet Savings Ahead of Black Friday
The iPad Air 2 arrived in stores two weeks ago and we can already share a sweet iPad Air 2 deal that delivers up to $50 in savings at select retailers. This is close to the expected Apple Black Friday 2014 deals, and is certainly worth considering.
Here’s what you need to know about the first iPad Air 2 deals, how they compare to iPad Air 2 Black Friday deal predictions and how you can save $50 on the older iPad Air as well.
You can’t go to an Apple Store for these deals, but you can still shop at reputable retailers like Best Buy and Toys R Us. The iPad Air 2 deals aren’t live yet, but you can plan out where you will get these deals.
All of these iPad Air 2 deals are only available in store for a limited time. Here’s how to save $30 to $50 on the iPad Air 2 or iPad Air.
The iPad Air 2 starts at $499, but many users will do better with a 64GB iPad Air 2 that offers more storage for $599. The iPad Air is $399 with 16GB of storage and 32GB for $449. The biggest changes include a faster processor, better camera, thinner design and Touch ID on the iPad Air 2.
Apple iPad Black Friday 2014 deals will likely include up to a $75 gift card for the new iPad Air at Apple Stores and online, but this is not set in stone. If you live near a Best Buy or a Toys R Us you don’t need to wait for Black Friday for savings.
iPad Air & iPad Air 2 Deals – $50 Gift Card
Best Buy hosts a special holiday shopping event on Saturday November 8th from 1PM to 4PM where you can check out all kinds of new technology like 4K TVs and curved TVs, but the big draw for us is a $50 gift card with the purchase of any iPad Air or iPad Air 2.
This is what you can expect for iPad Air 2 deals for the near future. Retailers will tack on gift cards to sweeten the deal instead of an upfront discount. With these iPad Air 2 deals you can’t save in cash, but you can use the card for another purchase.
If you buy any iPad Air 2 or iPad Air at Best Buy during this event you get a $50 gift card that does not expire. You cannot use it to buy the iPad Air or iPad Air 2, but you can use it towards an iPad Air 2 case.
You need to go in store during this three-hour period to take advantage of the iPad Air and iPad Air 2 deals. Only select Best Buy locations offer this deal. Visit the Best Buy holiday shopping event page to find a location near you.
iPad Air & iPad Air 2 Deals – $30 Gift Card
Toys R Us starts a $30 gift card promotion for any iPad in store on November 2nd. This is part of the Toys R Us Big Toy Book promo that runs through November 22nd. This leaves room for iPad Black Friday deals in store that offer more savings several days later.
For the next several weeks you can go in store to Toys R Us and buy an iPad Air or iPad Air 2 for regular price and get a $30 gift card in return. Unlike the Best Buy iPad Air 2 deal, this gift card expires in January.
Overall the iPad Air 2 deals are a good sign, but you are much better off going to Best Buy, during the short window of sales, or counting on Apple to repeat the $75 gift card deal on Black Friday.
