Wait Until You've Prepared for Your Upgrade

Don't upgrade to a new device until you've put in some time.

If you haven't bought a new phone in awhile (if you own an iPhone 5 you probably haven't), you absolutely must do some prep work before you purchase a new phone. 

You need to look into carrier pricing/data plans and weigh your options. If you aren't tied to a carrier you need to look at carrier coverage in your home and most frequented areas. You need to look into your upgrade and make sure it's available. You need to research Android devices and the top iPhones. The list goes on. 

You won't be able to get this done overnight. You'll need to put in a few days, maybe even a few weeks, to get completely comfortable.

Don't upgrade to a new phone until you feel comfortable.
