iPhone 6s iOS 9.3 Features
The iPhone 6s iOS 9.3 update is going to come with some unique features that take advantage of the device's 3D Touch display technology. If you haven't been using 3D Touch on your iPhone 6s, these could be the catalysts for change.
3D Touch on the iPhone 6s allows you to use a hard press on the display to access different shortcuts and features. Third-party app developers continue to roll out updates with support for 3D Touch and Apple's iOS 9.3 update is going to bring support to popular stock apps.
When you hard press the Apple App Store app with iOS 9.3 on board, you'll have access to a "Update All" shortcut and a "Purchased" shortcut.
When you use a hard press on the Settings app, you'll be granted access to shortcuts for Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Battery, and Set Wallpaper. This might be the most useful of the bunch.
The stock Weather app now features a 3D Touch shortcut that displays your frequently searched cities and one that allows you to quickly add a new city. There are also new shortcuts for Stocks, Compass, and the iTunes Store.
Beta testers are also saying that there are some smaller changes in store for iPhone 6s users including "Taptic Feedback when accessing multitasking via 3D Touch" and an option to "choose to Duplicate a Live Photo as a Still Photo when exporting from Photos app."
Of course, these aren't the only features coming with the iPhone 6s iOS 9.3 update. There are other impressive additions including Night Shift, some tweaks to CarPlay and Notes, and a whole lot more.
We could see additional iOS 9.3 betas bring new features to the iPhone 6s, and others, as well so keep an eye out.
