iPhone 6s Plus vs Galaxy Note 5: Software

We're not going to get into the entire Android vs iOS debate, as that's pointless. That said, the Galaxy Note 5 and new iPhone 6s Plus have a few unique features that set them apart from most other devices available.

Samsung's Galaxy Note 5 has a fancy double-tap the home button to instantly launch the camera, shortcuts on the screen, and more. Apple does something similar with the lockscreen in iOS.

The Note 5 also has the S-Pen stylus that does a lot of neat things. Everything from taking down notes, drawing with precision, writing while the screen is off, and much more. The S-Pen, fingerprint scanner, heart rate monitor and more all give the Note 5 an edge up on Apple.

However, Apple has 3D Touch, and iOS 9. 3D Touch is a new "long press" action similar to how we move icons on our devices. Only a light long press gives users a preview of an app, picture, email, etc, and a deeper (harder) 3D press actually opens the app. It's like a shortcut, but also seems a bit pointless.

Apple Pay, the Apple Watch, iOS 9, continuity features with OSX computers and more. Apple has a lot to offer, but so does Samsung. It's a toss-up here, and may come down to which OS you prefer. Android or iOS.

I like the notes freedom of sharing files so easily. Thats important in buisness. This thing with a sandisk micro usb flash drive acts just like a mini pc. The iphone struggles trying to share anything other than to other apple devices, not good im my buisness.
