Don't Expect a Redesign
We're probably not going to see the iPhone 7 with a redesign this fall. Instead, we'll most likely see an iPhone 6s Plus with a design that's similar to last year's. All-metal, lines on the back for the antenna, slim, and lightweight.
He had heard that Apple might be making some changes to the iPhone 6s' case but a recent leak suggests otherwise.
A report from 9to5Mac points to an iPhone 6s Plus design that will probably use the same build materials and utilize a similar design. This is extremely important because it means most iPhone 6 Plus accessories should work with the iPhone 6s Plus and also because it means that you can go hands on with the iPhone 6 Plus right now to get a feel for its successor.
Expect the headphone jack to be in the same place, the speaker grille to be in the same place and for there to be no major changes with the buttons.
This is an iPhone "S" model so this shouldn't be at all surprising to those familiar with Apple's iPhone release protocol that calls for a major redesign once every two years.
