iPhone 6s Plus vs. iPhone 6 Plus: 10 Important Details
Do Expect Camera Upgrades
Apple always tweaks its camera in some way (sensor, software) so it's not shocking to see iPhone 6s rumors point to some changes to the cameras on board this year's iPhone models. A report from PhoneArena hints at several potential iPhone 6s camera upgrades that could come to both the FaceTime camera and the rear camera. The iPhone 6s' FaceTime camera will apparently see a bump from 1.2MP to 5MP. Rumors have also hinted at a panoramic option though that remains unconfirmed. As we've noted, the changes to the front-facing camera make sense. Devices like the Galaxy S6 come with incredible front-facing cameras for selfies. iPhone users love to take selfies too. The rumors point to a move from an 8MP sensor up to a 12MP camera sensor. The camera might also be able to record in 4K. Apple's used an 8MP sensor for awhile now so a shift to a 12MP camera could bring some big changes, for the better we hope.
