Lenovo’s all new ThinkPad P52 mobile workstation delivers the power users need to run VR experiences on the go. This is a 15-inch laptop with an incredible set of display specs, and enough horsepower to deliver virtual reality wherever your work requires it.
Thanks to the new Nvidia Quadro P3200, Lenovo is able to bring a 15-inch mobile workstation to the market with support for VR built-in. There’s no external GPU needed to enable this. While 17-inch mobile workstations with VR support are increasingly common, finding one in a 15-inch form factor hasn’t been feasible with the previous GPUS. Coupled with the latest 8th Gen Intel Xeon mobile processors, this is a powerful mobile workstation.
The P52 also comes with a new 4K Touch screen option that supports 100% of the Adobe RGB gamut and a top brightness of 400 nits. This is a mobile workstation aimed at creatives and designers who need loads of power, color correct screens and the ability to us VR for design, data management and other activities on the go.
Key Lenovo ThinkPad P52 specs include;
- Up to NVIDIA Quadro P3200 GPU
- Up to 8th Gen Intel Xeon hexa-core CPU
- Up to 128GB DDR4 memory and 6TB total storage
- 15-inch 4K UHD display with 400nits, 100% Adobe color gamut, 10-bit color depth
- Dual USB-C Thunderbolt 3 ports
- New ThinkPad Thunderbolt workstation dock
- 6 Cell (90WHr) Battery
We don’t know the ThinkPad P52 pricing yet, but it goes on sale at the end of June with a collection of accessories for portability and connectivity in the office.
