LG Thrill 4G Bringing 3D to AT&T on September 4th
It’s official, folks. It’s finally official. After pre-orders for AT&T’s version of the LG Optimus 3D, the LG Thrill 4G, began at Radio Shack on the 22nd of July, we assumed that a launch couldn’t be too far off in the distance. Turns out, it took AT&T well over a month to make the official release date of LG’s dual-core smartphone confirming the release date as September 4th on Twitter.
The tweet was straightforward and without any theatrics. As you might know, AT&T is going to be offering up the 3D powered smartphone for $100 on a new two year contract while Radio Shack has been offering it up for $80.
And with all of the smartphone releases coming up soon, I wouldn’t be surprised to see this phone drop even further shortly after launch. After all, LG lost some credibility with all of the problems that the G2x had on T-Mobile.
So, if you’re interested in the Thrill 4G which packs a 4.3 inch glasses-free 3D display, dual-core 1GHz processor, 8GB of onboard memory, an 8GB microSD card, dual 5-megapixel stereoscopic cameras, HDMI out, DLNA streaming, you’ll want to head right here.
Anyone been waiting on this phone to arrive?
