Maxed out Mac Pro Costs More Than a Tesla Cybertruck

The new Mac Pro starts at $5,999, but you can quickly spend more on the 2019 Mac Pro than on a Tesla Cybertruck.

That’s right, a maxed-out Mac Pro is $52, 748 — and you get four wheels with it. While it won’t likely take on a Ford F-150 in a rigged towing test or take you out for Sushi, it will deliver faster than the Cybertruck with top-end mac Pro delivery dates in late January.

The new Mac Pro is more expensive than the Tesla Cybertruck when you max it out.

The Tesla Cybertuck with the three motor all-wheel drive options is still more than the Mac Pro and is coming in 2021 according to Tesla, while the cheaper single motor rear-wheel-drive Cybertruck is $39,900 and coming in late 2022.

If you add a Pro Display XDR with Nano-texture glass and a Pro stand to the mix, you’re still below the $69,900 cost of the higher end Cybertruck, but like Tesla Apple is still adding on option, so the 8TB SSD Mac Pro could push the envelope even higher.

You can order the new Mac Pro from Apple today and get 6% cash back with the Apple Card.
