Just in case you needed the physical evidence to convince you that the rumored July 7th release date for the Motorola Droid 3 was the real deal, Droid-Life has dug up some up that makes the 7th all but certain to be launch day for Verizon’s latest Droid-branded device.
The leaked document indicates that the Droid 3 will be launching on July 7th via direct fulfillment and then it will go on sale in Verizon stores a week later on July 14th. There is no official word from Verizon at this point but it’s pretty safe to circle that date on your calender if you’re in the market for a dual-core, QWERTY toting, 3G Droid smartphone.
No pricing is available but you’d be hard pressed to convince me that it’s going to cost anything but $199.99 on a new two year contract with that price possibly dropping soon after its released.
So, expect an official announcement from Verizon soon, maybe even as late as July 6th. Is anyone out there going to be picking this up?
