Verizon has posted a landing page for the Motorola Droid Bionic‘s accessories over on its official website and while there isn’t anything there yet for sale, it’s a very good sign that things are in motion and we should have our first dual-core 4G LTE smartphone launch on time in September.
This news of course comes after the Droid Bionic leaked out several times, including these exclusive photos, showing off everything from its new form factor, to its battery, to its blistering data speeds.
Sadly, Motorola and Verizon have yet to give us an official release date for the handset but September 8th is currently the front-runner and if that’s the case, we should see an announcement soon if the companies want to take pre-orders.
The fact that this accessories page has landed helps that cause. In addition to the Bionic’s accessories page, there is also one for a device called the Motorola Xoom 4G LTE which is likely going to be a new tablet that Motorola and Verizon launch at some point in the near future.
After seeing yesterday’s blistering data speeds and hearing about the device’s fantastic battery life, I’m pretty excited about the launch of this phone. Let’s just hope Motorola is able to quench the expectations of others.
