Motorola RAZR HD Appears in New Photos

Published

on

The Motorola RAZR HD has surfaced once again, though its release date on Verizon and other carriers still remains unclear.

The elusive device has made an appearance on XDA-Developers, courtesy of Droid-Life, and the photos show off the front and the back of the phone, as well as information in regards to the version of Android its running which is Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich and its codename, the Motorola Vanquish.

The version of the RAZR HD pictured here is an international version that’s headed to Vodafone and not the Droid model that is headed to Verizon’s network though we imagine that all versions of the design of the device look relatively similar.

The Droid RAZR HD has surfaced again.

Unfortunately, the photos don’t provide much other information about the RAZR HD. The source who leaked these photos says that the device employs an 8MP camera and not a 13MP rear camera as was previously rumored. So, those looking for more megapixels might be out of luck.

Again though, this is an international version and the Verizon model could have a different sensor.

A release date for Verizon is still unknown.

These are the clearest photos yet of the RAZR HD, a device that is likely going to replace the Droid RAZR MAXX and Droid RAZR sometime later this year.

As of yet, there is no release date – rumored or official – for the Droid RAZR HD or RAZR HD which means it could be a matter of weeks or months before they finally arrives on shelves.

The Droid RAZR HD, in addition to a 8MP camera and a RAZR-inspired design, supposedly packs an HD 720p display, a Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor, 4G LTE data speeds, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, and a 2,530 mAh battery.

Many had thought that the Droid RAZR HD would have a 3,300 mAh battery similar to that of the Droid RAZR MAXX but an FCC filing for the Verizon model put those rumors to rest.
