New Galaxy Note 4 Specs Leak Outlines 3 Features
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 specs need to include a killer design and stunning display to take on the LG G3 and the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 this fall. A new report outlines three potential Galaxy Note 4 specs that may help Samsung catch up and even leap ahead. But, like many of Samsung’s best devices, some of these potential Galaxy Note 4 features will only arrive on a special premium device.
One of the biggest Galaxy Note 4 mysteries remains what the Galaxy Note 4 will look like, and what materials Samsung will use in the new phone this fall. This report sheds light on this, suggesting we could see a metal Galaxy Note 4 that includes a flexible display. The leak also delves into the possible Galaxy Note 4 specs for the camera in this upcoming phablet.
As the Note 4 release date creeps closer we continue to learn about potential Galaxy Note 4 specs that include a few shared with the Samsung Galaxy S5. Although we won’t know exactly what the Galaxy Note 4 looks like until later this year, near IFA 2014 in September, details are starting to come together.
Here is a look at three potential Galaxy Note 4 features, as outlined by a new report. You’ll also learn why at least two of these potential Galaxy Note 4 specs aren’t likely showing up on a Verizon or AT&T Galaxy Note 4.
ETnews shares a new report on Galaxy Note 4 specs, citing un-named Samsung officials. The report outlines a metal Note 4 design, a flexible display and a camera with optical image stabilization.
This is not the first time we’ve heard about a metal Note 4 design, but it is very possible that this will not make it to the U.S. Samsung routinely creates a premium version of their devices with upgraded features that only go on sale in Korea. The Samsung Galaxy S5 with a 2k display is one of these devices and a recent ETnews report also focused on the Galaxy Alpha, which would use an aluminum design.
This report outlines a metal Galaxy Note 4 design that may include stainless steel, aluminum or magnesium, which are popular premium materials in smartphone design. At this point it’s not clear what Samsung plans to offer, but this is likely for a high-end Note 4 that is exclusive to Korea or other areas.
Another potential part of the Galaxy Note 4 specs is a flexible display. Again, this is something that is more likely for a special version of the Note 4, than as a standard feature that makes it to the U.S. A Wall Street Journal report from May included hints of a flexible Galaxy Note 4 display, but a separate report points to this being a Galaxy Note 5 feature.
A metal Galaxy Note 4 with a flexible display certainly sounds like an exciting device, but it also sounds more like a premium model that arrives after the main Galaxy Note 4 release date. Further information should line up as we move closer to IFA 2014 in early September where the company will likely announce the new Galaxy Note 4.

One possible feature that is likely to make it to the Galaxy Note 4 in the U.S. is an updated camera. The report claims Samsung will offer a 16MP camera with optical image stabilization, which can help users take better looking photos, even in low light.
In addition to these features the Galaxy Note 4 specs may include
- 5.7-inch WQHD display
- Updated processor
- 32GB of Storage
- Micro SD card support
- IP67 Water-resistant design
- Fingerprint sensor
- Four color options
- UV sensor to detect UV radiation levels.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 should arrive just in time to compete with the iPhone 6, and to a marketplace where the LG G3 has enough time to win over users with a 5.5-inch QHD display in a small package.

The note 4 will be the best phablet money can buy. It does not need to catch up with the g3 and definitely not the iphone 6. These are new phablets which need to catch up with the note which is a mile in front. Which idiot writes thus bullshit!
