New High-End Sony Xperia Smartphone Surfaces
A Bluetooth SIG listing has outed a new high-end Sony Xperia smartphone dubbed the Sony LT30 ‘Mint.’
According to XperiaBlog, the Bluetooth Special Interest Group listing reveals some of the features of the device that is codenamed Mint which is going to be a high-end smartphone. That much is revealed by the listing itself which claims that phone’s design “is part of the premium product line.”
We assume that means that it’s both an Xperia device and high-end.
As for the design itself, it’s said to sport an “attractive ARC design with metal back cover.” The ‘Mint’ will apparently weigh 140g and will feature a skinny 9mm design which is comparable to the Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX’s design which is 8.9mm thick.

Other specifications include a 4.6-inch display with 720 x 1280 HD resolution, a 13MP camera that can shoot 1080p video, and a front-facing camera that will be capable of producing 720p content.
The rest of the Sony LT30, including its processor and its operating system – which one would hope would be Android 4.1 Jelly Bean – remain a mystery.
Also missing is the device’s release date and release region. It’s possible that this device may never make it to the shores of North America given that Sony is a Japanese company. However, besides the Xperia Ion for AT&T, the company has been lacking high-end devices for North American carriers so it wouldn’t be surprising to see the launch of one come soon.
We have heard that Sony might be launching new Xperia devices in July and this device very well could be one of them.
So, those who love Xperia devices should keep the Xperia ‘Mint’ on their radar as we expect to hear more about this mysterious Sony smartphone in the days ahead.
