The Nexus 10 Android 4.4.3 KitKat is now available to those that wish to skip Google’s lengthy OTA roll out and install the Android 4.4.3 KitKat update and its fixes right now.

On Monday, shortly before Apple took the stage at WWDC 2014 to announce iOS 8, T-Mobile confirmed an Android 4.4.3 KitKat update for arrival. This was not the first time that the rumored Android 4.4.3 KitKat update had been confirmed and therefore many, including us, were skeptical of the announcement.

Later in the day, after the iOS 8 festivities died down, Google dumped the Android 4.4.3 KitKat update into the AOSP, confirming its arrival for the Nexus 4, Nexus 7, Nexus 10, and Nexus 5. Shortly after that, the Nexus 7 Android 4.4.3 KitKat update started to push kicking off a series of Android 4.4.3 KitKat updates that are either deploying or are set to deploy later on this week.

Yesterday alone, we saw the Moto X, Moto G, Moto E Android 4.4.3 KitKat updates announced and we saw the Nexus 5, Galaxy S4 GPe, HTC One M7 GPe, and HTC One M8 GPe Android 4.4.3 KitKat updates push out. Today, Google started deploying the Nexus 4 Android 4.4.3 KitKat update and now, another Nexus Android 4.4.3 KitKat update has become available to owners around the world.

The Nexus 10 Android 4.4.3 KitKat update is pushing out Over-the-Air and it’s also available to those that wish to skip the OTA and install the Android 4.4.3 KitKat fixes, new dialer and the changes to the People application right now.

Nexus 10 users that are currently running stock Android 4.4.2 KitKat and know how to sideload software can use this file to install the Nexus 10 Android 4.4.3 KitKat update and all of its fixes right now. Those that don’t know how to sideload can take a look at our guide from last year. users will want to substitute today’s update with last year’s and the Nexus 10 for the Nexus 7.

Those that don’t feel comfortable with the process are advised to sit back, relax, and wait for the OTA update to arrive. Google’s OTA pushes typically take a week or so to deploy which means that Nexus 10 owners will want to remain patient as Google works to push its Nexus Android 4.4 KitKat updates to users across the globe.

The Nexus 10 Android 4.4.3 KitKat roll out means that there are three Nexus Android 4.4.3 KitKat updates that remain. They include the Nexus 7 LTE Android 4.4.3 update, the Nexus 7 Wi-Fi only update and the Nexus 7 3G Android 4.4.3 KitKat update. Release dates for those devices remain unclear though we suspect that they will roll out in the near future.

These updates are all a part of a broader Android 4.4.3 KitKat roll out that will hit the HTC One M8, HTC One M7, Moto G, Moto X, Moto E, Google Play Edition devices and, according the rumors, the Galaxy S4 LTE-A and Galaxy S5. Manufacturers have been known to offer fixes and enhancements for their unique UIs and it could be that Samsung and HTC make changes to TouchWiz and Sense with Android 4.4.3. That remains unconfirmed.

It’s also not clear where the Nexus 10 goes from here. Google sticks to an 18 month Android roll out window and with the Nexus 10 right around that mark, it’s impossible to determine whether or not it will get Google’s next major Android update.

Rumors point to a new Android update and a Nexus 8 release this summer so it could be that some devices skip Android 4.4.3 KitKat for something newer. Android rumors have yet to firm up around a specific name or any specific features though Google typically releases a new Android update at the mid-year alongside a new Nexus tablet.

HTC Nexus 8 rumors continue to swirl ahead of Google I/O, Google’s annual developer conference that is set to take place later this month, but so far, nothing has been set in stone.
