While many shoppers are currently scouting out hot Black Friday deals this holiday season, today a rather enticing Nexus 9 deal has surfaced that many will be interested in. A deal offering at least $100 off the new Android 5.0 tablet from Google.

Google’s Nexus 9 was released on November 3rd, so not even a month ago, yet deals have already started to surface offering the impressive 8.9-inch tablet for a lower price. The first deal arrived the day after its release, but a new discount from Best Buy is worth checking out for those who aren’t finding any good Black Friday deals.

Starting today and ending on November 29th, Best Buy is offering a rather impressive deal for those looking to snag the Nexus 9. You’ll be able to get at least $100 back after trading in an eligible tablet, and we have all the details below.

Nexus6-2

Starting today Best Buy is offering a brand new trade in promotion that is offering up Google’s latest Nexus 9 tablet for essentially $100 off. Simply head to a nearby store with any (keyword any) working tablet, and you’ll be able to trade it in and get $100 off the Nexus 9.

This is in the form of $50 off, and a $50 Best Buy gift card, so it isn’t a complete cash discount, but still an excellent deal and price just days before the Black Friday storm kicks off. While most stores have discounts on Samsung Android tablets, this is a pre Black Friday deal many will want to consider.

As you can see from the image above, Best Buy is promising “a minimum” of $100 off the Nexus 9, and possibly more depending on the device you’re trading in. The way it reads, any working tablet that isn’t a Nook or eReader, and doesn’t have a broken display or water damage, is eligible for the trade-in deal. Meaning if you have an old Galaxy Tab 2 7-inch laying around that isn’t worth much, you’ll still be able to snag $100 off the latest and greatest impressive Nexus 9.

Google’s Nexus 9 tablet is the first device to run the completely overhauled and redesigned Android 5.0 Lollipop update. It offers a large 8.9-inch 2048 x 1538 HD display, a powerful NVIDIA Tegra K1 (64-bit) processor with 2GB of RAM, and stunning dual front facing speakers. Made by HTC you can expect the same impressive front facing boomsound speakers, aluminum bezel around the edges, and a quality 8 megapixel camera on the rear with optical image stabilization.

While many reviews suggested it isn’t quite the premium $399 tablet many were expecting, the Nexus 9 is still arguably one of the best Android tablets available today, and now can be had for $100 less thanks to this new Best Buy trade in deal.

Again, it’s worth noting that Best Buy is promising a “minimum” of $100 off the Nexus 9 with an eligible trade in. Meaning that a Nexus 7 (2013) or old iPad Mini may get you more than $100 off Google’s newest Android tablet. Now is a good time to snag the Nexus 9 and skip the Black Friday rush, so click here for more details regarding Best Buys new Nexus 9 deal.
