Turo is an easy way to rent a car instead of going with an established brand like Hertz or Enterprise and now Nissan and Turo are teaming up to turn this on-demand car rental service into a new way to test drive and start the car buying experience with the Nissan Experience Test Drive on Turo.
Starting today in select cities, buyers can test drive any 2016 or newer Nissan vehicle and get a $300 bonus on a new or Certified Pre-Owned Nissan at an authorized dealer in the U.S.
This works for Nissan vehicles already listed on Turo with private owners and dealers in Salt Lake City and Northern New Jersey are listing Nissan vehicles on Turo to help add to the pool of vehicles.
If you live in one of these markets or are visiting, you can book a Turo rental for a Nissan vehicle and try the car for hours, days or longer. It’s a way to really live with a car before signing on the line and bringing it home.
To get started on Turo, you need to register for an account and you will need to share driver’s license information as well as an address and payment method. You need to be 18 years or older with a valid license and you may need to verify yourself. Here’s more on signing up for Turo.
Open the Turo app, choose one of the locations where this program is valid and then search for the time you want to rent the car. Tap on Filters at the bottom and scroll down to choose Nissan as the make and set the years as 2016 to 2019. You can also start on the Nissan x Turo landing page in your browser.
We found a wide range of vehicles available including a Nissan Versa for $21 a day and a Nissan GT-R for $132 a day. There are a lot of options, and it’s easy to book time in a car you are thinking about buying.
