Don't Expect Better XP Earn Rates

After a week of good XP earn rates that felt about right, Sledgehammer games said that they had accidentally turned on Double XP since launch and then gave players Triple XP with the first Double XP weekend.

They rolled back XP earn rates to what they say is normal, but which feels incredibly slow and surprise, surprise, means you earn Supply Drops slower while leveling up because it takes longer.

As it stands Call of Duty: WWII XP arrives slowly, and with new micro transactions in the game to monetize it even further you shouldn't expect XP earn rates to change.

While EA backtracked due to feedback from the Star Wars: Battlefront community, Activision was smart enough to not roll out in game purchases and slower XP earning until after most people bough the game. Call of Duty games do not often adjust XP earn rates up in response to gamer feedback.
