The LG 360 CAM is a nice accessory for the LG G5 if buyers can find it, but on July 19th the company announced another "Friends" accessory that works wonderfully with the LG G5. It isn't a modular item that can attach to the bottom, but it still has plenty to offer.

The new LG CAM LTE is an action camera is a standalone device or an accessory. It features an IP67 dust and water resistant rating, a 12 megapixel camera that takes photos, or video in 1080p up to 120FPS to 4K recording and more. It has a micro-SD slot to add a  200GB micro-SD card for all that video recording, a powerful Snapdragon processor with 2GB of RAM inside, and 4G LTE connectivity so owners can capture and stream HD video right to YouTube. All without ever being connected to the LG G5.

This little action camera is like a GoPro competitor but made by LG. It was released in the United States in the summer of 2016. This was one of the last "friends" accessories released for the LG G5.
