Last but certainly not least, is the release date and price. Two extremely important factors.
I want to start with the biggest one first, price. The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is an amazing smartphone. A great phone that costs $1,000. That is a lot of money, even though you're getting plenty for that price. More than the $1,000 iPhone X, and more than most other phones. You can buy the Note 9 right now for $999 and it's worth almost every penny.
- Galaxy Note 9 128GB with 6GB RAM - $999
- Galaxy Note 9 512GB with 8GB RAM - $1,249
The OnePlus 6T release date is November 1st, so go buy one today. Here's how much:
- OnePlus 6T 128GB with 6GB RAM - $549
- OnePlus 6T 128GB with 8GB RAM - $579
- OnePlus 6T 256GB with 8GB RAM - $629
Sticker shocked? You should be. The same amount of storage and RAM on both phones has a huge difference of almost $450. You could nearly buy two OnePlus 6T phones for the price of one Note 9. Basically, you're getting a similar experience, better features in some areas, and 90% of the phone for 60% of the cost. It's impressive, really. However, like Apple, Samsung has a loyal following. People that love the theme engine, the S-Pen, Samsung Pay, or the excellent camera experience. Add all of that to a phone that's water-resistant and has wireless charging, and that's where the price difference comes in. Which one will you buy?
