Ratchet and Clank PS4 Release: 5 Things to Know

This is a New Game, Not a Remaster

While we don't have all of the details regarding the new game just yet we do know that this isn't just a remaster for the PlayStation 4. 

James Stevenson, the community lead at Insomniac Games, recently went into detail about the game and some of its mechanics and he made sure to point out that this isn't just a re-skinned version of the popular title from 2012. Instead, the company "re-imagined" the game. So what does this mean for buyers?

It means that the game will come with "modern controls, several new planets, new and updated gameplay segments, all-new Clank gameplay, all new boss fights, new flight sequences, and more."

There will still be some elements from the older games but it's looking like this will be a solid standalone title for PS4 owners.
