Buy for RAM & Storage Options

Samsung launched the Chromebook on April 6th, 2020, but so far it only comes in one option. That's a beautiful 13.3-inch 4K display with a Core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of SSD storage, and that's all. It's $999 and absolutely stunning if you can afford it. You can trade in an old phone, tablet, or laptop for a discount, too.

However, if you need even more power, performance and storage it looks like later down the road Samsung will let you buy or order an upgraded model.

During the announcement back in January, Samsung confirmed it'll come in 8 or 16GB RAM models, and while 256GB os more than enough storage for most people, they'll also offer a 512GB and 1TB option as well, although that could get really expensive. We're seeing NO signs of those upgraded models online, but they could surface at a later date.

That said, you can still add a 512GB Samsung microSD card and quickly expand storage if you need it.
