3 Reasons to Buy the Destiny 2 Annual Pass & 2 Reasons Not To

Wait for More Information About the Annual Pass

We know that the Forsaken Annual Pass is $35 without the bundle and that it includes three episodic releases over the next year. We have names and a basic idea of the content, and we now know a lot more about the Black Armory and what may come.

This is three full seasons of content over the next year, and it starts to look and feel more like a MMO subscription. This is part of a new trend in gaming that delivers a base level of content and then more premium content for players that pay for the Annual Pass.

There's a decent amount of information available, and you can start to see how this handles. You may know enough today, but you may want to wait and see how Black Armory plays into January with the premium content before you buy.

From this release and the hype leading up to it, you should know about the new weapons, challenges, armor, vanity items and new exotics. Once you have a full accounting of the Annual Pass content for the Black Armory you can make a pretty good judgement call on theall value from the Destiny 2 Forsaken Annual Pass.

When Destiny 1 came out, I bought the game and Season Pass $100 (The Best $ Spent). When Destiny 2 came out, I bought the game and Season Pass $100 (The Worst $ Spent). Then a couple months later they offer up Forsaken to me for $40 (PISS ME OFF), Forsaken should have been part of my $100 dollar Season Pass on D2, (I purchased the $40 Expansion cost), a couple months later they want another $40 for Annual Pass? The HELL with BUNGIE! Their not getting another Dime from me! I wasted $40 for Forsaken, Gambit or (Dammit) SUCKS! Crucible SUCKS, I haven’t been able to find anyone who even wants to do a RAID on Destiny 2 or Forsaken, some start it, but wont finish it and the rest of us that’s never done a RAID is screwed! Why pay Bungie for their technical mistakes, why? Forsaken will be my last experience with Bungie Products, no more, I’ve had it up to here, I’m done!

I can whole heartedly see why long term players would be annoyed at this annual pass. I got Destiny 2 for free during the 2 week offer and bought Forsaken for £26, which had all of year 1 content. I doubt I’ll buy the annual pass based on past performance from the publisher. Extra guns, bubble environments and an attrocious method of looking for groups to play with, puts me off. I have to use either an app for my phone that doesn’t separate between EU, US or Asia servers. Or I have to use a discord group to find players, add these people as friends on Battlenet and then play. Considering past experiences with Warcraft, Bungie have done a terrible job bringing gamers together, even to message each other.
With Anthem just around the corner, I’ll be one of the players waiting to see what happens next.
