Jailbreak to Install Cydia Tweaks and Apps

The biggest reason to jailbreak is to install Cydia apps and tweaks on your iPhone. These can do all sorts of tasks and change the way you use your iPhone.

It is not about pirating paid apps, but finding apps that Apple doesn't allow in the app store.

If you want to have more control over your iPhone and what apps you can use on it. If you love controlling your phone and there are things you cannot do stock, this is perhaps the biggest reason to jailbreak iOS 10 and iOS 10.2.

Wait for New Screen Sizes

Wait for New Screen Sizes

It looks like we could see some new screen sizes in 2020.

According to hit-or-miss publication Digitimes, Apple is working on new iPhones that are smaller, and larger, than the current models.

The site claims Apple will launch three OLED iPhones in 2020 with screen sizes measuring 5.42-inches, 6.06 inches and 6.67 inches.

The 2018 iPhones feature 5.8-inch (iPhone XS), 6.5-inch (iPhone XS Max), and a 6.1-inch (iPhone XR) displays. Same goes for the iPhone 11 (6.1-inches), iPhone 11 Pro (5.8-inches), and iPhone 11 Pro Max (6.5-inches).

Korea's ETNews reports that Apple's planning to use thinner OLED displays on the 5.4-inch and 6.7-inch models. It's unclear if the change will lead to thinner designs.

A recent note from JP Morgan analyst Samik Chatterjee states that Apple will release four new iPhone models in the fall of 2020 including a 5.4-inch model, two 6.1-inch models, and a 6.7-inch model.

Kuo backs up this information in a new research note. He claims Apple will launch a 5.4-inch iPhone, two 6.1-inch iPhone models, and one 6.7-inch iPhone in the second half of 2020. All of them should come with OLED displays.

So if the current sizes aren't to your liking, think about waiting for the 2020 crop of iPhones.
