You should not buy Splatoon 2 if you are not a big fan of multiplayer games. Hero Mode is the only thing that gamers can play without someone else, and it only has 30 levels for you to master.
Splatoon 2 encourages you to spend most of your time in multiplayer. Turf War puts you on a team and tasks you with covering a level in as much ink as you possibly can. The newest mode, Salmon Run, doesn't require you to compete with other players. However, it does force you to team up with them. Anyone that doesn't love playing with other people should avoid that mode too. Splatoon 2 costs $60, which is a lot to pay for just a single style of play. |
