The Samsung Droid Charge has shown up on Walmart’s cell phone shop which may mean that we could see an official announcement at some point in the near future, maybe even today.
Unfortunately, this placeholder page doesn’t give away any crucial information about the Droid Charge, specifically its release date or its pricing. If a leaked Verizon road map is to be believed, the Droid Charge is going to be hitting shelves starting tomorrow so the device’s appearance here at least leaves this possibility open.
However, c considering there hasn’t been a press release or anything official yet, it’s a little tough to believe that it will go on sale tomorrow.
As sort of a consolation prize, there is a photo of the Samsung Droid Charge again bearing the exclusive Droid red eye which should put away any doubts as to whether or not this thing would be Droid branded.
The Samsung Droid Charge was originally announced back at CES and will be another addition to Verizon’s 4G LTE lineup of smartphones. For more information, have a look at our in-depth preview of Verizon’s latest Droid handset.
