The winner of a new Samsung contest will be able to win whatever the company is unpacking at its Unpacked Episode 2 event in Berlin, Germany, meaning contest entrants could win the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, or, Galaxy Gear smartwatch.
Samsung is hosting an Unpacked event on September 4th wherein the company will be announcing two new products in the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and the Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatch, both of which have been confirmed for arrival by the company. And in the build up to the launch event, the company has issued not a teaser video, but a contest where interested consumers can enter to win whatever is unpacked.
The company’s wing based in the United Kingdom is currently hosting a contest on Facebook wherein entrants can sign up for a chance to win at least one of the new products that Samsung is set to show off on September 4th.
This September, Samsung will reveal something new and groundbreaking to the world. We’re giving you the chance to win it as soon as it’s released!
It doesn’t specify if it’s talking about the Galaxy Note 3 or the Galaxy Gear though we imagine that it could be talking about the Galaxy Gear considering it’s using the words “new” and “groundbreaking.” While the Galaxy Note 3 may be both of those, we’ve seen two models released in the past. The company does say that those who enter can get their hands on Samsung’s “next big thing” so it’s entirely possible that it’s for the Galaxy Note 3 as well.
Entrants only need to like the page and fill out a quick form to enter into the contest for a chance to win a new device on the day it’s released. Rumors suggest that the Galaxy Note 3 could be out in late September which could mean that the Galaxy Gear will be out in September as well. If true, contest winners would have their hands on something new in just a matter of weeks.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is supposed to replace the Galaxy Note 2 with a larger display with higher resolution. It’s also said to include a faster processor, improved S Pen, new design, 32GB of storage space, and a release date that could come as soon as September 27th.
Samsung’s Galaxy Gear is expected to be a smartwatch that features a 2.5–inch OLED touchscreen with a resolution of 320 x 320 pixels, a 1.6GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM and a choice of 8GB or 6GB of on-board storage.
