The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 release date in the United States is starting to heat up with two more U.S. bound models inching closer to the U.S. Galaxy Note 4 release date that’s confirmed for October.
Earlier this month, Samsung took the stage at its Unpacked 2014 Episode 2 launch event and announced a slew of new devices including the Gear S smartwatch, Galaxy Note Edge, and the all new Samsung Galaxy Note 4. The Galaxy Note 4 is the company’s new flagship smartphone and it will be coming to replace the Galaxy Note 3, last year’s third-generation Galaxy Note.
At the event, Samsung confirmed the Galaxy Note 4 specs but it did not confirm some of the most important details including the Galaxy Note 4 price and the specific Galaxy Note 4 release date. The company simply said that the Galaxy Note 4 release in the United States and around the world would land at some point in October.
It’s now clear that the iPhone 6 release date is going to beat the Galaxy Note 4 release and that has consumers in the United States and elsewhere looking for Galaxy Note 4 release details. While Samsung and its carrier partners remain mum, it’s clear that the Galaxy Note 4 release date in the U.S, and elsewhere, is making progress behind the scenes.
In the past two weeks or so we’ve spotted international variants passing through their Bluetooth certification. We’ve also seen Galaxy Note 4 variants pass through the FCC including the AT&T Galaxy Note 4. Yesterday, we saw the Sprint Galaxy Note 4 cruising through the FCC on its way to shelves and today, we’ve spotted two more U.S. bound Galaxy Note 4 variants passing through the FCC on their way to the Galaxy Note 4 release date.
Both the T-Mobile Galaxy Note 4 and the Verizon Galaxy Note 4 appear to have cruised through the FCC’s clutches in recent days on their way to shelves. The T-Mobile Galaxy Note 4 model number should be SM-N910T while the Verizon Galaxy Note 4 should be SM-N910V. Both models got credentialed by the FCC a couple of days ago which means that the Galaxy Note 4 U.S. release inches closer. The only model that we haven’t seen yet is the U.S. Cellular Galaxy Note 4.
Unfortunately, these filings do not confirm any specific Galaxy Note 4 release date details. Samsung and its carrier partners remain silent about the Galaxy Note 4 release in the U.S and at the moment, it’s still not clear as to when the Galaxy Note 4 will arrive on shelves to compete against the iPhone 6, LG G3, and HTC One.
While that might be the case, Samsung is ramped up its attacks against the iPhone 6 Plus, the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 that’s already up for pre-order and will hit shelves around the world this Friday. Samsung released a new ad during Sunday Night Football that accuses Apple of copying the Galaxy Note, a device that was ridiculed by many in the press when it first came out. The device is now in its forth-generation and still going strong.
The new ad also touches on many of the features that the Galaxy Note 4 offers including the bundled S Pen stylus, an accessory that the iPhone 6 Plus does not come with. Of course, the Galaxy Note 4 will be coming with a number of other big time features as well.
The Galaxy Note 4 release date remains out of reach, we do know what to expect from the Galaxy Note 4 specs. The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will be loaded up with new features including a new 5.7-inch Quad HD display, Snapdragon 805 processor from Qualcomm, 16MP camera with Optical Image Stabilization, new design that features plastic and metal, 32GB of storage, Android 4.4.4 KitKat, new software, and a brand new S Pen.
