Samsung Galaxy S4 Android 4.3 Update Hits More Users

The Samsung Galaxy S4 Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update has rolled out to more users today as the new software has started rolling out to owners of the Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-9500, the second variant of the Galaxy S4 that has received an upgrade to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean this week.

Earlier this week, Samsung started rolling out the long awaited Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for the GT-9505 in Europe. The update, which brings support for Samsung’s Galaxy Gear accessory, will continue rolling out over the next few weeks. Of course, the GT-9505 isn’t the only variant of the Galaxy S4 on the market. And today, one more version of the Galaxy S4 started to receive its upgrade.

The Galaxy S4 runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean at the moment.

Samsung’s Galaxy S4 Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update has begun rolling out to the GT-9500, the international version of the device that uses the Exynos 5 Octa processor. The update, according to SamMobile, has started in Russia and will presumably be heading to other countries in the near future as Samsung pushes to get its flagship upgraded with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean ahead of the Android 4.4 KitKat launch.

Samsung typically rolls out its updates in stages which means that some regions will get the update in the near future while others will get theirs weeks from now. The United States figures to be close to last in terms of timing as carriers are typically slow to get major updates rolled out to their flagship smartphones.

While it’s not going to be a massive overhaul, it still brings a number of enhancements along with some of what Android 4.3 Jelly Bean has to offer. Included in the update are some minor user interface tweaks, some changes to Samsung’s camera app, a new Reading Mode, and optimizations that should make the software feel faster than Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 Android 4.3 Jelly Bean roll out is the first of three planned Android 4.3 roll outs for 2013. The software update should be followed by updates for the Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2. The Galaxy S3 Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update has been rumored for November while the Galaxy Note 2 should get Android 4.3 in either November or December. Specific dates for the roll outs are not yet known and we expect them to roll out rather suddenly as Samsung typically does not announce updates ahead of time.

I think I agree with what you are trying to say, but I’m not sure because your punctuation and grammar are so bad ! Maybe you should learn a little English before you run off at the mouth criticizing Samsung…

It’s not just Samsung. First, the update has to ‘officially’ release. Then, it has to go to the specific manufacturers. Then, the specific devices. Then, the carriers. It’s all a long, drawn out process and if you like Android, you’ll stick with it. If you don’t, then there’s just iOS as the alternative.

You should call up the company for more information so you get expert info catered to your business. That’s a very broad spectrum of possibilities, so you’d need to define what it is you do and that’s all confidential between yourself and the carrier you sign up for.
