Samsung has announced the W899 Android 2.2 smartphone for the Chinese market, which is an Android clamshell flip phone that utilizes two touchscreens–one on the inside of the flip and the other on the exterior side.
The Samsung W899 has two 3.3-inch AMOLED touchscreen displays, GPS, WiFi, a 5-megapixel camera, and a microSD expansion card. It is also accented with gold trim and supports a standard keypad rather than a full keyboard.
The handset will be headed to China Telecom and it’s unclear whether the Korean phone maker will bring the W899 to other markets.
