So what about that DLC? Well, EA's mum about many of the specifics but here's what you can expect from it, and the game, in the future. 

There are going to be a total of four expansion packs. Those expansion packs will bring a collection of maps, gear, and more to the game. 

There will be over 20 new pieces of tech including weapons, Cards, and vehicles. There will be four more heroes/villians. There are going to be 16 new maps added into the rotation. And there will be four new game modes brought in.

As a reminder, if you pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition you will be able to take part in the Battle of Jakku starting December 1st. Everyone else will gain access on December 8th.
